Speedstreaker
Hello everyone, I am planning on reinstalling FSX and P3D on a new computer, have been flying a lot of X-plane lately. I am planning on buying Global so my question is can I have both FSX and P3D and apply ORBX Products to both sims? EK

knack
As a follow-up (and I hope EK won't mind)... I am almost ready to pull the trigger on P3Dv4.x and would like to know if there is a guide on how to go around installing ORBX, as I already have a number of products for my FSX installation (which will remain on the SSD until such time that I feel I am ready to finally delete it). Is there a danger of any conflicts? Cheers! Tony
Nick Cooper
Hello, once you have installed P3D v4, there will be an option in FTX Central to select P3D v4. Do so and then install the products in any order you wish. Logically, Global, then regional and then airports makes most sense.
knack
Thank you for the quick response, Nick! One more question, if I may. Does it matter where my existing ORBX products are installed? All the "add-on.xml" talk has me turned around.
Nick Cooper
If you let FTX Central install the products, they will be installed in the FSX way. If you don't, they won't work.
Speedstreaker
Thank you very much for your response, the trick..it seems...is to let FTX Central do the work. :-)
