dadams2222
When flying at night in low visibility conditions the city lights are too bright. They can be seen for 20+ miles even though my visibility may be set for 1 mile. Is there a way to adjust this? Thanks

Holger Sandmann
Hi there, this has been discussed before and it's a known drawback of the way the 3D lights are placed. Keep in mind that P3D and FSX by default don't actually have a system for placing off-airport lights in large numbers; hence the autogen work-around employed by us and other vendors. https://orbxsystems.com/forum/topic/65708-problem-with-global-night-lighting-in-low-vis/?tab=comments#comment-607555 ... unless you're using FSX in conjunction with Steve's DX10 Fixer: https://orbxsystems.com/forum/topic/87670-ftx-lights-bug-in-low-visibility/ Cheers, Holger
dadams2222
Thanks. I read through all the posts and as inderstand it the only way to address this is turn auto gen density off. Is this correct?
Holger Sandmann
Hi there, that is correct. Note that the light objects are technically "trees" meaning, if you're using P3D, you only need to turn off vegetation autogen (in FSX there's only a single slider for both buildings and vegetation).
