w6kd
Hi; I have a number of airports, such as some of the Simaddons Canada sceneries, that are duplicated by some of the FTXG NA freeware airports. I have added ".off" to the bgl files for the duplicate FTXG airport bgls, but each time FTX Central updates the FTXG NA airports package, it writes new copies of the previously disabled bgls, forcing me to go back in and manually edit everything again. Would it be possible to make FTX Central respect some sort of disabling convention (e.g. .bgl.off) so that the disabled bgls aren't replaced every time an update occurs? Nick Cooper
Hello, I don't think so. The alternative solution is instead of renaming the files you don't want, create a new folder in the ORBX\FTX_GLOBAL\FTX_FTXG_AIRPORTS\Scenery folder. Name it "OFF" for example and move the files that you don't want into it, without renaming them. You might even back this "OFF" folder up outside the simulator. Then when there is an update to the airports, copy all the files from your "OFF" folder into the new scenery folder. This will highlight them all. Press Delete and they will all be removed again.
