GermanyGreece93
Good evening, I have an strange issue at the canaries. ( see pics attached ) I am using FTX Global + Vector + openLC and the addon from Aerosoft in Prepar3D v4.1 ( fresh install ) Regards Alex
Nick Cooper
Hello, at the location of your first screen shot, I see only the sea. The nearest land appears to be Madeira. Your sea appears to be desert? Perhaps you can review your installation of whatever Aerosoft product you may be referring to. I don't know what is supposed to be the problem with your second image. GermanyGreece93
Hi Nick, thanks for your reply. The main problem is that the sea appears to be desert everywhere. It does also happen on other airports on the earth. Regards Alex
Nick Cooper
Perhaps your scenery library is corrupt. Can you attach your scenery.cfg file?
GermanyGreece93
Sure, find attached scenery.cfg
Nick Cooper
Thanks. It is certainly in the correct order. I would suggest that you untick all your non FTX addon scenery and see if the sea returns to water. If it does, you would have to tick them until you find which one is the source of the problem. If it does not, try unticking all the FTX scenery too but I don't think you will need to. Start perhaps with the last one you installed.
GermanyGreece93
Hi Nick, just tried ticking off all addon airports -> no action also tried ticking off all FTX scenery -> no action The strange thing: It only shows desert in my environment. When I open the map I can see the sea but not at my place Regards
Nick Cooper
Is the sea this colour with only the default scenery active?

GermanyGreece93
Hi Nick, also noticed that the problem is only the color. I can`t land at the "desert". Regards
GermanyGreece93
To add: It seems that there was an error with the terrain.cfg (see the old and new attached) I just deleted the terrain.cfg and let Prepar3D generate a new one. After that I reinstalled the ORBX Library and started the Vector Tool. Currently everything look fine. Do I need to change anything else as I have no experience with the terrain.cfg ? Nick Cooper
No, it looks like you have fixed it. Well done.
