my6sense
I tried to fligh leg 2 of the IVAO VFR World Tour 2018 from SKBC/ELB to SKTU/TRB. The airport SKTU/TRB is on a wrong position (GPS Datas 8.0745/76.7415). The runway lay on the water, the tower lay in the water. I could land but if i tried to left the runway my plane splashed into the sea. The correct GPS datas are 8.073257/-76.740256 for this airport. My System Win 10/ Prepar3d v4.1 / FTX Global -Base Pack/-Vector/ -OpenLC South America /-OpenLC North America/-OpenLC Europa/ Kind regards Thomas
Doug Sawatzky
Hi Thomas Hi, This is another common case of Vector placing the water and coastline in the correct position but P3D using old default FSX data places the runway in the wrong position. If you uncheck\deactivate Vector in your scenery library the runway will return back to land. This can sometimes be fixed by the user using the freeware ADE (Airport Design Editor) linked below. http://www.scruffyduck.org/airport-design-editor/4584106799 Cheers Doug
Gabriellc
disable vector in your library to land and take off. that's what I did https://orbxsystems.com/forum/topic/147707-sktu-under-water/
Doug Sawatzky
Yes, unfortunately the Orbx products for that area are not responsible for the positions of runways, those were put in the wrong place with the default sim installation....so you either get LM to fix it, or you fix it yourself.
