Triplane
Yes, sort of. There are a couple of things regarding scenery, effects, and sound files that have to be addressed. Nick has pretty much covered and explained it here: Doug
lawrence aldrich
Thanks......Right now it may be an option. I installed windows 10 and after that a new install of FSX.... Now.....after 30 minutes of flying, I get a screen message saying I'm in trial mode and have to activate with the product key (again) I think it may be a compatibility problem with windows 10....however I've tried everything I can find on the net to cure it with no joy. (There is no way to do that unless you reinstall) I think. Unbelievable !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

johnfromoz
Lawrence, I once had that and contacted Microsoft. They sent me a code as long as Gone with the Wind. I called them, and an operator asked me for the code, then cut me off half way. I called back and another operator just listened to the first four letters then registered FS for me without going through it. Left me thinking they can do it easily, but want us to jump through hoops. In short, as of maybe a year ago anyway, MS will still fix it, though I can't help with details other than saying contact them. I am just at a loss as to why it was at all necessary.
