Phil225
Hi, After my purchase of FTX Global Open LCEurope, I downloaded the zip-file via the ORBX website (FTX Central kept crashing). Next, I used FTX Central V.3.2.1.1 to install the manually downloaded files (see attached screenshots). Finally, FTX central started the download process and crashed. Could you please advice ? Thank you for your help, Phil225 FTX Central does not install LC Europe.pdf
Nick Cooper
Hello, It is 40 years since I was fluent in German, but I think I see the error message telling you that you have run out of disk space. Could this be?
Phil225
Hello Nick, Thank you for your reply. I saved the downloaded ZIP file on a new SSD dedicated to P3D V4 with enough space. However, when FTX Central extracts the ZIP (there are many ZIPs in the main ZIP) and installs the files, does it install on the same SSD or does it change location ? If it indeed changes location (and I do have two locations C: and D: with less than 11GB available), where can I change the location where FTX central installs the ZIP files ? But why does it go back to the download window after I selected to install via manually downloaded ZIP file ? Thank you for your advice, Philip
Nick Cooper
Hello Philip, FTX Central uses the windows temp folders during download and installation. By default, these are at C:\Users\your name\AppData\Local\Temp Changing the location is not difficult, here is one of many links which explain what to do. I would suggest that you move the folders to the drive that has most space. Realistically, you will need at least 30GB of free space, ideally, much more than that.
