Just a general question, has anyone in the UK had a repair done by LG on a monitor or any make as mine has packed up and I contacted LG about getting it repaired but of course they couldn't give me a price. The other issue is the nature of the problem - is it just not switching on (could be a minor repair) or has the screen gone weird (major repair). My only suggestions would be - Find a local TV repairer where you can take the monitor and ask them for a quote. Hopefully, by taking it there you can get a quote without paying anything. Had the lead checked and that was ok. At the time it just whent blank. There is a local TV type repair place, might be cheaper to try that.
