DrJB
Hello everyone, I just bought a new PC and did a fresh install of FSX and all my Orbx products. After I installed FTX Global and Vector, the scenery appears enhanced, but I don't see any of the 3d lights. My PC is running the sim beautifully with no blurries, autogen maxed out and no issues. However, even after I installed the lights configuration tool, I still don't see any lights at night. I've checked some stuff on old forums, but not really sure what to do. Any help appreciated. Thanks. PC Specs: i7-7700 @ 3.6 Nvidia GTX 1060 Windows 10 64bit. FSX SP 1 & 2 Thanks. JB Order Number: 362975 FSPilotshop
Doug Sawatzky
Hi JB, Welcome to the forums, Did you install the latest Orbx Libs?
DrJB
Hi Doug, I did. Everything is updated. I am realizing that it may be related to autogen. As I recall, Orbx replaces all of the orginal autogen, but the fsx original origin is all still in place. So, maybe I need to uninstall and re-install? Doug Sawatzky
You could try that, except, I wouldn't uninstall, I would just rerun the install. Yes I believe the lights are related to autogen trees, so make sure your autogen settings are high enough.
