Terry O'Brien
Hello ORBX ... I have noticed in my views around my home airport in the PNW scenery (CYPK area) I am getting a number of very small spikey hills which seem quite unnatural in a general flat terrain. I was wondering if these might be being generated from VECTOR, GLOBAL AMERICA or PNW SCENERY files caused by dropped bits or something else. Should I download and reload any of my files to try to correct these aberrations? Please advise if possible.
Dave_YVR
First thing I'd check is your Library insertion points within FTX Central to make sure it's set correctly.
Terry O'Brien
Thank you Dave although I don't think I was understood Correctly. I am including a picture of my problem.
Claude Troncy
@Terry O'Brien Bonjour, I too have this kind of problem. With vector disabled, in my case, the small hill exists, but are not so sharp. Did you try without vector ? Cheers Claude
Holger Sandmann
Hi there, do those "cones" completely disappear when you get closer or do they have small lakes on top and stay visible? If the former the issue is with the active terrain mesh file; if the latter it's a problem with incorrect elevation/flatten settings for lake polygons. Cheers, Holger
Claude Troncy
@Holger Sandmann Bonsoir, For me the cone doesn't disappear when I get closer and there is no small lake on top. With vector disabled the peak is not so sharp and more realistic. With Gloabl Mesh 2010 disable no peak at all Cheers Claude
