I located the link to lessen the amount of download time needed by backing all all content, with the exception of Global. I reviewed the FAQs and was unable to find the answer to my query below. Was wondering if I am able to run/use FSX:Steam while my download is running in the background? If this does allow FSX:Steam to run while downloading the content does it hinder performance of the download of FSX:Steam? Any help appreciated. Doug Sawatzky Posted January 4, 2017 Share Posted January 4, 2017 Hi Kerry If you are using FTXC3 to reinstall to your FSXSE, I would highly recommend not running the sim at the same time because FTXC3 downloads extracts and installs all at the same time.
