Dimus
This nice tool used to be in previous FTX Central version. I really liked the taxiway borderless markings. Can't find it now in version 3.
Dimus
OK, found the program is still in the ORBX directory, however when I run the exe I get an unhandled exception message from .NET Framework that it can not find the FTXSettings.xml file. I copied the file from one directory above into the Aero folder and the program worked.

petejohno
I found a backup copy of the file but aero still will not work. Is there anywhere where I can download aero separately ? My taxyways look like crap ! johno
addman
Yeah, the Aero bumpmaps are still the best around. I hope they will somehow integrate FTXAero with future releases of FTX Central.
Tim Harris
It may be out of action atm, but it can still be used manually if you like, personally I always use the 'Coarse' as its still the best for all areas To do it manually: 1. Browse to ...\ORBX\Scripts\Aero\Source\Scenery.World.Texture.detail1.bmp.Coarse\detail1.bmp 2. Copy-paste the file into ...\Scenery\World\texture Done (If you want the default file back, there a copy in ...\ORBX\Scripts\Aero\FSX_SP2_Originals)
addman
Thanks for the tip Tim! As soon as FTXC allows me to download my Orbx products, I will try it.
Bermuda425
I too hope you guys will bring the bumpmap selection back soon. I liked the different themes for different seasons, for example cracker looked nice with snow on the ground.
