stoney
There is a severe elevation error at BTKF in Iceland. I tried a Vector Configuration AEC but still there. Reykjavik is okay. Can some one take a look at BTKF please. Thanks CJ
john548
BIKF is ok for me and is disabled in the AEC tool. Hope this helps. (FSX & P3D) Cheers.
stoney
Well after using the Vector Config in auto mode I have the Rwys and Taxiwys elevated above the surrounding areas. If I Disable BIKF manually in the Config then I have the Rwys but for their very ends covered by the surrounding area texture, and the taxiways etc have normal elevations. Surely along with the other forums entries Orbx must know there is a problem in that area----now how about a Fix.
john548
have a look at the thread below yours in the vector Support section...it might help you otherwise you will have to wait for the experts to see your problem and get back to you. Nick Cooper
BIKF in FSX, Vector AEC disabled, Iceland demo/OLC EU installed. What do you see?
stoney
Nick. At 3000' altitude I see the same thing. However, at field level the elevation defect is obvious. Also, I have Vector installed and having paid good money for it, I expect to be able to use it. I feel that If I cannot use it where it should be used then either it is defective or some other thing is wrong. I am only asking to be able to use what I paid for. Nick Cooper
Perhaps you can post a shot, as requested, of what you see, in particular the elevation defect.
stoney
Never mind Nick, I'll just chock this up to experience and avoid that A/P . Consider the enquiry closed
