active openLC North America Installation

Order Number FSS0525066.

I have downloaded into the Downloads folder the 4 zipped folders for the orbx FTXopen LC_NA110 North America.

What do i do next to install these files?

Create a temporary folder and call it for example NAOLC, on your desktop. Open each zip folder and Exract each one and put the extracted files into your new NAOLC folder. When you have done that open the NAOLC folder and you should see all the extracted files in there including one which is marked as an exe. Right click your mouse over the exe and run as administrator. It will the go thru the installation process. Once it is all complete and the "Finish" option appears, click on Finish. Finally open up FTX Central and you will see that Central will have a couple spinning wheels going on with Applying Synching going on. Assuming you have already installed the latest orbx libraries, you are set to go.

                          A great explanation by jjaycee1, just remember when extracting, it is advisable to use either Winzip or Winrar as the native Windows extractor is a little dodgy

Thanks, all installed. I had to download some of the packages several times as they could not be opened. That was the initial problem.

Hi Fudge !

 

For your information, when downloading huge files, better to use a download manager to avoid corrupted downloads.  I am using "Free Download Manager" since 2 years without any problem and 7zip (free)  for extracting the downloaded files.
