Khahn
Hello, I have been a satisfied customer of your product "FTX Global Base". It enhanced my FSX remarkably as you can see in the first picture and the corresponding satellite image of my home airport EDVN. Therefore, I thought that it would be a good idea to add "FTX Vector" and "FTX OpenLC Europe". For now, it seems that I was mistaken. Adding OpenLC caused a messed-up image of not fitting textures (3rd picture). Adding Vector caused the main road and the river as well as nearby lakes to vanish. (4th picture) This is not how it is supposed to be, right? I must have made an mistake. Maybe you can help with that. What can be wrong? Voyager
Hi Constantin, Something does not go as it should in the migration process. Please, force the migration process again and see how it looks. As an example, here in my PC, I see EDVN like this: and in Google Earth: and with EU Germany and how force migration: Cheers, Voyager
Khahn
Hi Voyager, Thanks for your help! EU Germany looks amazing but first of all your view with my programs would be enough. Unfortunately nothing changed after I had forced the migration process. Should I create a diagnostic report? Konstantin
Nick Cooper
No, please don't, the diagnostic report function no longer works.
Khahn
Okay, just one small addition. That's how London looks like: Here is definitely something completely wrong.
Voyager
All right, go to your Scenery Library and make sure all your openLC are ticked: Voyager
Khahn
All are ticked. What else could be wrong? Maybe I downloaded corrupted files?
Voyager
Did you set the "insertion point"? If did not, please see this info-graph and do the procedures: Voyager
Khahn
I think we get closer to the problem. For some reason I have no FTX block. Just the blue OLC block. What could be the reason for that?
Voyager
This is because you have no Orbx region and/or airport. Voyager
Voyager
By the way, all your third-party add ons should be above the FTX / OLC blocks. Voyager
Khahn
Okay, that makes sense. As far as I can tell it looks like insertion point is set correctly. What do you think are my remaining options? Should I try to reinstall? Konstantin
