I recently began to use FSX again (steam edition) and when I Installed the pacific north west region I ended up with a problem. I ran FTX central to load the region, but it tells me it cannot find the scenery cfg. I also have the problem that the freeware airports won't install either so I have to do it manually. The Installation for the PNW finds the correct path, but it won't add the scenery to the library. I tried to add manually the terrain, but when I tried CAC8 the elevation is wrong so I deleted the terrain from the library. I tried again after I used the fsx_reg_utility to make sure the path is ok, but no joy. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Nick Cooper Posted August 26, 2016 Share Posted August 26, 2016 Hello David, Your FTX Central version is the old and redundant version. You should visit this page and download the latest libraries. This will install FTX Central v2.1 for you and also perform the file migration necessary to bring your installation up to date.
