B77X
The airport files in FixedAPT folder are not being disabled by the airport elevation correction scanner. I have an airport scenery for KMCO and the Vector config tool should be disabling the KMCO files in the FixedAPT folder but it does not.
Neil Hill
Hi B77X, What I think you're trying to say is that running the Vector configuration scanner is not removing the KMCO files. The configurator does not remove files, only removes elevation corrections needed for 2010 mesh. Besides KMCO does not appear in the Vector Configurator so running the auto configurator would not change anything at KMCO. If you want to remove the files for KCMO you must remove (or set to .off) the two KCMO files in the FixedAPT/Scenery folder. Cheers, Neil
B77X
The scanner should disable all files like it does for other airports. None of the files in the fixedapt folder are disabled and this is a problem.
Nick Cooper
The "scanner" is for airport elevation corrections. The airport does not require an airport elevation correction. The fixed airports are to correct horizontal locations. As Neil says, they can be disabled manually as required. As in the case of any other addon scenery, it is necessary to check FTX files for the ICAO code and disable FTX or the addon's files as necessary. B77X
I must have not read the documentation. There are a lot of airports for the FixedAPT that overlap, especially in the FTX US regions. 13Z, 1S7, etc
Neil Hill
Hi again, That is true, some airports show up in both locations but for different reasons. Those in FixedAPT to correct the layout of an airport to fit the increased accuracy of Vector shore lines, roads, etc. and in the AEC scanner to control elevations of airports affected by Pilot's 2010 mesh.
