jlindblo Posted June 15, 2016 Share Posted June 15, 2016 It was a cloudy and raining day and I was making an IFR flight in a Rockwell Commander 685 from Jackson Hole to West Yellowstone . Not paying attention I neglected putting the flaps down and possibly landed downwind ... and expectedly, landed long. Long enough that my turnoff was the last one at the end of the runway. As I was making the turn off the runway spots began bouncing in front of my eyes and I banged down the brakes hard.
