From a Navy Pilot to Aerospace Engineer and the Hubble Telescope to....

Recommended Posts

I must admit I laughed so hard when I saw John Hetlinger on Americas Got Talent. All that he accomplished from Navy Pilot to Aerospece Engineer and working on the Hubble, and now 82 years young and still living life to the fullest.

if you haven't seen him Google his name (I don't like reposting). He was awesome

Navy pilots rock.

They know when they take off that their airport is going to be somewhere else when they come home and that it's up to them to find out where it's going to be, and then land on a runway that is going to be moving up and down and only 200 feet long. ( #4 wire is not a good catch )   And sometimes they have to do it at night in the rain.

It's easier now than it was in the 50's when I was in.

All they had was DR on their E6B to get back and a LSO  to help them get aboard.

As an Aircrewman with over 300 hours and 4 at sea deployments who depended on them to keep me alive

I say Again

Navy Pilots Rock.
