shermank
I NOTE TO MOD...PLEASE REVIEW DUPLICATE POST. I THINK THIS IS BECAUSE I POSTED USING MY IPAD. THANKS see in many pix posted here and elsewhere, as well as on my own monitor, a distorted fisheye view of the landscape. And when in the VC, if I pan to the copilot side, the panel is elongated, also a fisheye distortion. my monitor, probably like yours is widescreen in a ratio of 16x9. However in FSX display settings, even with a screen dimension selected as 1600x900 the same VC distortions appear, as well as external landscape views. so, what setting will cure this problem. I also know the default interior zoom. Is 30. what might work better. For example is there a 100 equalization standard? Sorry if this seems obtuse or not very well described, but if you have seen what I am trying to articulate, you know the problem. Thanks. sherm

gotjackson
Have you tried: WideViewAspect=True in your fsx.cfg under [Display]? And set your zoom to near 1.00. On widescreen, that will give you a "true to life" perspective.
Eeros
It's little bot wide but not even close to "fish eye" (30). Try 60. - and + on keyboard.
