Lyn
Hello again. Please read "Issue Report - Road Traffic Invading Adelaide Int. (YPAD)" first. Here is my problem at YPPF. No where near as bad as Adelaide but still annoying. Once again traffic does not use the airport loop road as a public highway. I am sure that it would be best to bypass these loops and leave it to the developers. Just for fun I have included two screenies of the default airport and two after my add-on. This magnificent airport is just one of many created by Steven Royals for South Australia in FS9, and I refuse to loose it. It needs a bit of work to make it compatible in FSX, but it is possible. Thanks again John, I know that in the scheme of things my problems are only little fish but I am glad that you and your team listen. Lyn.
Rob Nieuwenhoven
Thanks, Delta, Looks like we'll need to remove those roads from database to stop the vehicles invading.
Lyn
Thanks Rob, that sounds great. I assume that it will be fixed in the Service Pack. Lyn.
Holger Sandmann
Hi Lyn, that's correct. We'll probably wait a bit for reports of road/traffic intrusions elsewhere and then issue a collective hotfix. Cheers, Holger
macca22au
For some reason neither of these have appeared in my installation of AU Blue. I would certainly like them, so is there some error, or should I reinstall? Is there a problem of order, say.
Lyn
macca, The first two pictures are of the FSX default Parafield. The next two with the custom buildings is Steven Royals FS9 Scenery. It has a few problems displaying some objects, I disabled the trees bgl and the rest isn't too bad. YPAD is the default scenery. Lyn.
Rob Nieuwenhoven
Part of the problem is that the alignments in FSX and FS2004 are slightly different (we had the same problem with fs2k2 and FS9), which means scenery developed for FS9 is usually displaced by a few hundred metres, hence the conflict. Lyn
Thanks Rob, I am aware of that. As I said, the top two screenies were taken with the default FSX scenery and FTX only, no FS9 stuff. The hotfix did the trick for both sceneries, now everything fits. Regards, Lyn.
swraymac
got the same problem with highway traffic at essendon airport. also the highway from the air is textured as grass. also from tower view when you zoom out, you see a "huge" satellite looking thing just sitting in the middle of the screen.
