Mike Ryder
I just purchased KSEZ...I'm blown away but many cars in the parking lot are missing textures and are all black...I can post pics if needed...is this a known issue?
Jarrad Marshall
G'day Mike, A couple of questions that will help us narrow down the issue; 1. What simulator are you using KSEZ with? 2. If FSX, are you running DX10 mode by any chance? If so, you will need to ensure that you have Steve's DX10 Fixer installed and up-to-date. 3. Do you have your ORBXlibs installed and up-to-date? Lastly, could you please post a couple of screenshots of the issue for us... instructions on how to do so can be found here. Jethro VH-JET
Hi Mike, I think you will also need to show an FSS Orbx order number in your avatar profile or Forum Signature.
Mike Ryder
FSX W7 64 with no DX10...Libraries that came withe installer about a week ago...I take it this is not a known issue? Thank you for responding.
Jarrad Marshall
G'day Mike, thanks for the screenshot. "Libraries that came with installer about a week ago" - I just need to check that this means that you have downloaded the full separate ORBXlibraries download from here? The KSEZ installer from FlightSimStore does not include these libraries; they need to be downloaded and installed separately. Once you have done that, you'll need to open FTX-Central v2 (a link can be found on your desktop), open the FTX Global tab on the left, and press "Apply Group" (the blue button) to ensure you have your ORBX library is activated correctly. If you are still seeing the black cars after that, could you please run a manual check for me to confirm there aren't any files missing; 1. Go to your Microsoft Flight Simulator X\ORBX\FTX_AU\FTXAA_ORBXLIBS\Texture folder 2. Check that the following two files are there: - ORBX_SRA_Vehicles_2a.dds - ORBX_SRA_Vehicles_3a.dds Let me know how you go with these. Penzoil3
FTX Central crashes because you haven't installed the libraries. Here- https://fullterrain.com/support#orbxlibs. It's a necessary step to finish your installation.

G'day Mike, Just to clarify - the ORBX Libraries are not included in the KSEZ installer, this needs to be downloaded separately from here. ORBX Libraries include (among many other things) a set of communal library objects that we use in all of our sceneries. The cars that were displaying black for you are part of the ORBX libraries (indicating problems with your ORBXLibs); those that displayed fine are unique to KSEZ and as such are included in the KSEZ installer. If you have an older version of ORBX Libraries installed, it is important that you download and install the latest version - these are updated regularly.
