YMUI Some Trees Have Artefacts

Specific tree models show graphical artefacts (white lines surrounding object) at the otherwise excellent YMUI Murray Island payware airport.

I am guessing these are custom trees and not part of FTX HD trees which I also have installed...

Running FSX Acceleration, Oceania region enabled, FSX AU SP4, FSX Global hybrid mode unchecked.

 

Images should be self explanatory, let me know if any settings/specs are needed to identify the problem.

Hi Dave, just noticed this

 

I think its a combination of Nvidia settings, AA settings and the way the textures alpha was created, as I've seen the effect in other sceneries sometimes

 

At some point I want to properly update this project, and that will involve using newer tech on the vegetation

Thanks for your reply.

I have tried various Nvidia graphic settings of AA and transparency etc., and nothing has any effect. (better or worse).

I had also come to the same conclusion regarding alpha textures. I have recently installed Pago Pago and Tapini Airport sceneries and the trees and vegetation in both packages do not show the same issues. I guess they have been prepared using a different technique.

 

All considered YMUI is a nice scenery package. (As you can see from my initial support query, I thought I had purchased it!)
