Orion1974
Something went haywire the other day with another addon update and as a consequence I have had to due a full re-install of FSX-SE; however my question is, do I have fully install all my ORBX scenery packages again from the get-go or is their a way to do it easily with FTX Central 2 still remaining on my desktop? Nick Cooper
Can you tell me how you went about re-installing FSX-SE and during your re-install, what did you do with the FSX\ORBX folder?
Orion1974
Hi Nick, I just did the standard un-install via the control panel add/remove programs then a registry clean and restart. For installation I just went through my Steam account and clicked install and let it downloaded overnight. It took a while to download and install. That's where things are at this point. Nick Cooper
Hello Darren, I would expect that you will still have your original FSX folder with the ORBX folder still in it. If you can find this, you will be able to copy the ORBX folder into your new FSX folder. If you decide to try this method, you should first visit this page, download the FSX Registry Utility and use it to set the new path to your FSX installation. Also, please read this topic and make sure that your external folders are named FSX. You will need to install FTX Global and the latest libraries.
