RHaas
Hello, I'm trying to preset the weights of one of my most used aircraft so I wont need to fill it out each time I load the aircraft in FSX. The thought the [WEIGHT_AND_BALANCE] section of the aircraft.cfg would do that but it does not seem to have any affect when I change the values. I modified the station_load points but no change when I load the aircraft. Anyone ever mess with this before? RHaas
yes and yes, it saves in the file but when I load up the aircraft and go to the payload section it shows the default weights
TymK
Have you tried reloading the plane (there is a dedicated shortcut for that, and selecting a different livery for the same plane should work, too)? The sim may be pulling weight data from your saved flight.
CED CYQR
Tym suggestion is number 3 todo Unless you reload your aircraft old weighs are still in cache. Selecting same livery won't do it all use common cfg file. Switch to Cessna 206 then back to your aircraft. Screen shots of C172 default load and with 1200 pound water buffalo in co-pilots seat. Don't ask how the C172 flew suffice it to say had no choice but to kick the water buffalo out. http://fsfiles.org/flightsimshotsv2/image/G6me http://fsfiles.org/flightsimshotsv2/image/G6mD http://fsfiles.org/flightsimshotsv2/image/G6mP
