  1. Hi, Not really a support question, so I hope this is the right place to ask. I've been wondering if the new PAC P-750 supports the new propeller simulation as well as the other recent flight model features added in MSFS, that is Computational Fluid Dynamics and Soft Body Simulation. They seem to offer some marked improvement in the the C172 G1000, for example. I can't find any information on the product page (or anywhere else, for that matter), so if any one knows anything, I'd be grateful... Cheers, Tym
  2. There's no point in being an early adopter with Win 11, I tried on my secondary PC (laptop) and encountered a show-stopping issue straight away: someone in their infinite wisdom took away the ability to move the taskbar... excellent design decision... At any rate, MSFS runs great on Windows 10, and the OS itself is alive and kicking and will be supported until at least 2025. So, I'd say enjoy the new sim on Win 10.
  3. According to the release notes, they included some Windows 11 promo content: Apparently, naming that component of the update "Windows 11" has caused a lot of confusion in the forums...
  4. I think the main takeaway as regards the "Throwback Thursday" series is that it should be appropriately labelled in the store. The nature of these products may be obvious to us obsessive forum lurkers/posters, but to someone just visiting the store, there's no real indication (apart from the price, of course) that this is an "economy" line of products. The phrase "Throwback classics range" is only really meaningful to forum "insiders". One more thing... While I don't generally mind the "economy" aspect of these products as long as the price reflects that, I'd hate to see some of the more iconic airports take that route. I'm happy with Fall City, for example, but I'm a bit bummed that the "Throwback" release pretty much means that no 'properly' revamped PAKT will come from Orbx... Regards, Tym
  5. The GPU may be a bottleneck in some scenarios, but I recently tried XP11 and TE GB South on my new "work/light gaming" laptop with a mobile 1650 and was very pleasantly surprised with how well it ran. Certainly above expectations. If you can live with lower antialiasing settings, absolutely give it a try. The GB demo gives a nice overview of performance, especially in the denser urban areas.
