Tom Schroeder Posted February 25, 2016 Share Posted February 25, 2016 Hi there, I've tried to install YBUD to P3Dv3 several times (always with fresh downloaded files from different (!) FSS servers) but I always got the message "A decompression error had occurred (#2026)" for the files "fx_Orbx_YBUD_Beacon_Gr.fx" and "fx_Orbx_YBUD_Beacon_Wh.fx". Installation continued after pressing the "Ignore" button but I think the 2 files are damaged in the ORBX install set?! Those two files are already existing (from a previous Orbx product installation) in P3D's Effects directory in read-only mode, preventing them from being overwritten. I got around this by deleting those pre-existing files from the Effects directory and then clicking the "Retry" (if I remember correctly) button. For more details, see here.
