FTX GLOBAL BASE is flat and 2D?

Hi guys/girls,

I would like to say that im completely new to this forum so please excuse me if iv posted in the wrong area.

Right, my problem is, is that when i go to install FTX ORBX GLOBAL BASE, it turns out to be really flat with only a few houses scattered around along with a few trees too. I have reinstalled it twice and the same problem is still occurring. Does anyone know the reason behind this, and what i could do to actually enjoy the scenary which i have purchased? Oh, and also Its got nothing to do with my auto-gen or any of my setting as iv fully tested them out. Its to do with something else.

Kind regards,

Aaron

Welcome to the forums.

Thank you for the order number.

After you installed FTX Global, did you download and install the latest libraries?

If you did not, please do so now.

As a part of the installation, FTX Central will be installed.

To complete the installation of FTX Global please open FTX Central and click on Apply Group.

If your scenery still looks the same after this, please return.

FTX Global does have more autogen than default scenery.

Also you have a great deal going on in your screen shot, including

very many default buildings.

Try going somewhere else and see if the problem persists.

As a matter of interest, what frame rate are you seeing?

I think that's reasonable, there is a great deal of scenery in and around London and at London City

you are very close to Heathrow and Gatwick.

20-28 is acceptable, I think, you might try locking the frame rate to 24.

There are other variables to bear in mind, such as how many clouds, the aircraft you are in and so on.

Depending on your PC specs you may not do much better.

I would expect your frame rates to stay roughly the same.

Some people report lower frame rates with Vector but it is

not my experience.

Given your figures for the London area, I would expect that

your PC will cope with all the products you buy.

As ever, it depends on your PC specs, the more detail that

you have on screen, the harder it has to work.
