xxd09
Hi All Re this new freeware airport A couple of items of interest occur using my rig 1) FTX Global Vector Configurator needs to be used to Disable Airport Elevation-or Airport looks very odd. This seems to be true of Microsoft Flight Sim too. 2) P3Dv3.1 doesn't entirely like this Airport. Loading the Airport on the initial Page of P3D crashes the Sim. Loading Asiago LIDA after the Sim has installed the default Airport seems to work OK. This appears not to be the case with Microsoft Flight Sim. xxd09
Sylvain Delepierre
Hi, 1. Yes you have to disable LIDA in Vector config tool. Didn't the tool open automatically after install process ? 2. The scenery has been tested intensively in FSX and P3D without any crash. Does P3D crash immediately after clicking OK in the splash screen or does it crash after a certain percent of load? xxd09
Hi Sylvain Thanks for prompt reply 1) Vector Configurator tool did not open automatically for me-is there a reason for this? 2) Just tried loading LIDA again from splash screen-loaded OK! First 3 or 4 times crashed just after fully loaded. Enjoying flying out of this airport-it is very well done. xxd09
Sylvain Delepierre
Hi, The installation process should have opened Vector config tool automatically. Glad Asiago is loading correctly now.
Holy Cheese
Sylvain, I have no problems with the airport, but just wanted to confirm that the Vector tool did not open automatically for me either after installation process. Cheers Jack
