MightyMarc
Yes I know its a strong competitor on the landclass vs openlc area but I paid $100 for Global and hope you will answer this question. Since it could be a while (Year or two) before you guys get to landclass for Africa, Asia and S. America, I was wondering if Global works well with Scenerytech landclass in those areas. I will buy the openLC when they come out but my VA has very few people flying in Africa and I wanted to start. If I install SceneryTech files in the mean time (waiting for yours), will Global use them or will Global stop working and make the stock FSX ground texture do the work? I hope that Global does not go dormant when it sees a LC not called openLC. Juanvito
I'm also using SceneryTech for the areas not yet covered by OpenLC. Global works perfectly well with it, you just notice the difference between OpenLC and non-OpenLC regions.
Nick Cooper
Hello Marc, Scenery tech re-arranges the existing default textures and so does work with Global which replaces them. Sometimes the effect is not quite as might be expected but they are not incompatible. OpenLC does the same but also adds a vast number of additional textures which scenery tech does not have access to.
dominique
SceneryTech Indo-Pacific LC works without a hitch with Global (and Vector). I use it for flying in Indonesia, Papua New Guinea and The Solomons.
