alfern
Hi, Have installed Global, Vector, LC Europe and Norway packages. These are working great, but I have one issue with the highway lighting. Around ENGM the main highway only has road lights around intersections. Have enabled vector road lights in the configurator. In the first picture this is visible looking straight ahead on the main highway. On the second picture the highway is to the right, but the light only appears closer to the intersection with a smaller road. Any ideas on how to solve this? Thanks! Holger Sandmann
Hi there, it's by design that only urban roads and highways, plus intersections, have 3D light points and lightmaps. As far as I can tell when zooming in on Google Earth the real E6 highway, connecting Oslo with ENGM, does not have lightmasts throughout. Do you happen to know otherwise? If so I can make a note for the next NOR service pack. Cheers, Holger
alfern
Hi, Thanks for your reply. Yes looking south. I'm quite confident that the main highway E6 from Oslo to the ENGM is fully lighted. Not so sure about the highway after that further north, but I believe it is only lit up at the intersections as is currently displayed in the FTX Norway package. Holger Sandmann
Hi Alf, I found a couple of photos via Google Earth that indeed show lightposts along the E6 heading towards Oslo, e.g., http://www.panoramio.com/photo/59606592?source=wapi&referrer=kh.google.com and http://www.panoramio.com/photo/22434628?source=wapi&referrer=kh.google.com and http://www.panoramio.com/photo/76814810?source=wapi&referrer=kh.google.com I'll change the road type to "urban" with the next service pack. Thanks for the heads-up. Cheers, Holger
