Kilstorm
Hadn't been on Skyvector for a bit but they have a new Flight Planner/Nav Log feature that is worth a look.
Paughco
I didn't like it at first (change is BAD!), but now I like it. You plug in your waypoints just like usual, and it fills out a flight plan that looks just like those that the FAA recommends you prepare before a real flight. One of the coolest features is that the winds aloft are taken into account. Generally, everything on your GPS, all the VORs, etc., are set according to magnetic north. The winds aloft are given in degrees true. The new Skyvector flight plan shows each of your flight legs in magnetic and true, so you can figure out winds with your E-6B while "Otto Pilot" flies the airplane. Oh yeah. The flight plan gives you those also. Wonder if they'll let students use Skyvector when they're taking their ground school exam? Seeya ATB
