jonjo69
Guys, I've always seen the recommended install order as: Base Vector OpenLC Regions Airports Why then release v3 installers for Base and OpenLC thereby missing Vector? Is it a more difficult port? Am I right in believing I have to wait for a Vector installer before I can install OpenLCand regions? Museumkeeper
Hi Jonjo I purchased the original FTX Global and then added FTX OpenLC EU before I purchased FTX Vector. I experienced no problems. Kind regards Ian
NoLonger
If you have all or a lot of Orbx addons it's a nice idea to install them in a logical order, going from big to small. However, this is not a mandatory order. Most people buy addons in a totally random order and products also aren't released in a logical and mandatory order. And so it is totally fine to install them in a random order it the most logical order isn't available. However, I'd still install everything you DO have going from big to small anyway, so in this case first Global and then OpenLC.
jonjo69
Thanks! I've always had mixed messages about the importance of install order and the effects it has on the order within the library.
Mike Sierra
I use v3 with the available FTX Global and then added FTX OpenLC EU - no problems at all, except, maybe, that it is astonishing, how much Vector is missing! Michael

Mike Sierra
;o) An instruction of how to use FTX Global Vector installed for P3Dv2 in P3Dv3. But after posting I read this: "Please log all support issues relating to PREPAR3D® Version 3.x in this subforum. Please do NOT log support issues arising from porting Orbx addons to P3D v3.x using non-Orbx installers; such support topics will be closed without assistance" ...and to avoid the closing of this thread I deleted my post.
