j0nx
Is there a way to get rid of those ugly black boxes underneath the static aircraft on 0S9 when running in DX10? I installed steve's fixer freeware from flightsim but they are still there. Thankfully the fixer did get rid of those weird black boxes all over the terrain but the plane shadows are still borked. From what I can tell this is the only airport that I see this with. Please don't recommend that I spend $30 for steve's payware as I'm not sure that would add anything to the solution since I already installed his freeware library which did not fix this issue. TIA. Nick Cooper
Do you see any of the aircraft in this shot that in yours would have ugly black boxes underneath the static aircraft on 0S9 when running in DX10?
j0nx
The ones in the top left corner just down from the second hangar from the top left of your photo are the ones with the problems for me.

I posted my screen shot without comment because it shows you the airport as displayed in FSX Direct X 10 with the payware fixer installed and working. I think you must now decide whether to use Direct X 10, Direct X9 or reconsider the Direct X 10 fixer.
