At the moment every time I try to load FSX it crashes as the last time I shut down fsx I was moored some where, but now every I try to load it it crashes with an object crash and I can not seem to be able to stop it. I try to go into Slew mode, no good. There mus be some where, where I can delete the situation but have not found it yet. Thank you. Derek. Nick Cooper Posted September 22, 2015 Share Posted September 22, 2015 Hello, There are a few ways to cure this. One is... Open your fsx.cfg file with Notepad and find the [sTARTUP] section. Edit the second line to readSHOW_OPENING_SCREEN=1 Start FSX and you will see the opening screen. You can create a new flight somewhere else. Save this flight and tick the "Make this the default flight" box. The next time you start FSX you can visit the Load flight menu and delete the one that's causing you the problem. Another is... Open your fsx.cfg file and find the [uSERINTERFACE] SITUATION= line. Delete everything after the = and FSX will load the default flight. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
