wbellis
Attached is a screen shot of a display issue for the USCG Cutter at Pago Pago..in this case the wake is ascending into the sky rather than horizontally cross the water. FTX Global base, open LC EU and AK-Canada. Running in FSX Hybrid mode. Any suggestions would be welcome.

Tim Harris
Gday, Interesting lol! Cannot make this happen myself in either DX9-FSX or P3DV2, are you perhaps running in DX10 preview mode in FSX? Ran any 'fixer' type tools over your install of FSX?, a quick test for that would be to re-run the NSTU installer again as this would refresh the ships model/effect file In laymans terms this is the default FSX 'wake' effect which is an animated horizontal texture that emmits from the hull of the ship, the same effect is used on almost every other ship model in FSX
wbellis
Still no luck after reinstall. have not run any "fixer" software, but I do have AI Ships and Henrik Nielson ship traffic installed as well.. as a further aside - none of the other vessels in the Samoas does this - limited to the USCG Cutter
Tim Harris
Roger that, Just incase your effect file was altered by another 3rd party program here is the original 2007 default ship wake used by the cutter Unzip and drop it into ../FSX/Effects fx_wake_m.zip
