birdguy Posted August 27, 2015 Share Posted August 27, 2015 I am experiencing multiple problems since installing Open LCNA North. 1 - The insertion point for FTX Central 2 has FTX at the top and all the default scenery files including Addon Scenery below it. None of my addons including Tongass Fjords show up. FTX is the first item in the list. Tongass Fjords which should be below FTX is not there. 2 - Bronson Creek (CAB4) has elevation problems. 3 - After running the Vector Configurator every airport is listed in the enabled side. There are no disabled airports. I moved CAB4 to the disabled column but CB4 still has the problem. I have turned off my computer and turned it back on again. And repeated the above. No change. The problems persist. The new library installed this morning when I first turned on FTX Central 2. Noel Addendum... It seems all my addon scenery including Tongass Fjords is missing from my scenery library. So is Vector, Global and my mesh. Addendum2... I'm starting to reinstall Global and Vector. birdguy Posted August 27, 2015 Author Share Posted August 27, 2015 Seems I cannot edit my first post. I reinstalled Global, Open LC NA North, and the NA Global Airports. Also installed Vector. They show up in the scenery library now but I cannot run the Vector Configurator. I get this message: Unhandled exception has occurred in your application. If you click continue, the application will ignore this attempt and attempt to continue. If you click Quit, the application will close immediately. Cannot create a file when that file already exists. Nick Cooper Posted August 27, 2015 Share Posted August 27, 2015 Hello Noel, There seem to be a few topics recently on this subject. My answer is The error message means that you have some duplicate files with the same name but different extensions. It is difficult to find and correct these and the safest way to solve the problem is to download the latest version (1.2) from your FSS account. When you have, delete the whole ORBX\FTX_VECTOR folder and then re-install. The key is to delete the FTX_VECTOR folder, as this is where the duplicates are and simply re-installing won't get rid of them, in fact it may add to them. It's not perhaps what you wanted to read but is, in my opinion, the only sure way to ensure that the error message will be removed. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
