Gloster Gladiator

Just the man again Mark,  I go down to the bank and deposit money into the sim store account when buying , as I did for the SP3 dvd .  It was so cheap I thought I'll slip in another cheapish aircraft.  The Gladiator took my attention, at the right price, but I backed off because I was a little worried about the quality.  How does she sound , fly and feel like. Got any comments on that ?      cheers  mate

For the price its great..   I'm happy with it.  I love the sound. Starting up sounds great.   You only get a Virtual cockpit, its good but not great. She flys fine and if you press the "I" key the guns fire.   LOL     Lots of liveries, my favourite is the pre war version, an old worn plain metal finish.

* Just remember to go get the patch and the update files for the better metal shine.

Great edits AcesHigh!!! Good work!

...what picture frame are you using? Is it Photoshop compatible?

Thanks guys for all your kind comments...     :)

For mangotango...

I use Corel PaintShop Pro XI.

The frame is called "Cross Proc", I know a very strange name ?

Short for something but not sure what, in the pull down frame list thats what it shows as.  LOL

The newer X2 version is now out but I cannot say if the same frame is included?

I do not think it could be transferred to Photoshop, I own Photoshop 7 but it plays up in Windows Vista.

The Corel Paintshop Pro link is below:

That'll be a simulation of 'cross-processing', whereby in real photography (remember that?!) C-41 (negative) film was developed in E-6 (slide) chemicals or vice-versa to achieve unusual tonal effects.

Since I'm here, anyone know where to find out handling data on the Gladiator? I have the plane but there's little info supplied with it and I can't find anything on the web about handling.

I guess we are after the pilot operating handbook and that sort of info .                cheers

My four basic things to remember...    ;D                LOL

Put in fuel.

Start engine.

Let off brake.

Fly.

And any landing that you can walk away from is a good one.

Note to self,    "Sand in the engine, not good !"
