  1. I positioned my aircraft in front of the PAPI lights and then went into the scenery library and disabled the Orbx PAKT airport. When the scenery loaded my aircraft was sitting in front on the PAPI lights with the runway now to the right of the aircraft. So the underlying airport's PAPI lights are showing through the Orbx PAKT.
  2. I don't know what could also be active. I have Orbx scenery and no other 3rd party scenery in that area. I have Traffic Global installed in P3D v4.5 and v5. I will try disabling that in v5 and see what happens.
  3. Today I decided to fly out of Orbx's PAKT and noticed there are PAPI lights on the runway (right in the middle). Is there something I can do to move or remove them? I have not seen PAPI lights actually in the middle of a runway before. I should add that I have the airport installed in P3D v4.5 and v5.1 and do not see this issue in v4.5, only in v5.1. I also have Pilot's Ultimate mesh installed in both simulators. Basically I have the same scenery installed in both v4.5 and v5.1.
  4. I do have one question, however, regarding updating the navaids in P3D/FSX. Why should updating the navaids affect the field elevations? I would think that all that would change would be the navaid frequencies, headings (for ILS approaches) and stuff like that. Nothing that would affect the elevation of the airfield.
  5. When I started this issue my Orbx scenery was migrated to a separate library folder. I have since removed all of my Orbx scenery, deleted the remnants from the library folder and reinstalled my Orbx scenery into the P3D main folder. The reason was because with the scenery in an external library the Orbx scenery in the scenery library was locked in place and could not be adjusted.
  6. I found the updater I used to update the navaids and found the backup files and restored the original file.
  7. Ah now I remember that I updated the nav aids from that same source, so I guess that was the cause of this issue. I renamed the file that Nick suggested and that fixed the issue. I guess I could reinstall P3D 4.5 to get the original file back. If someone who has the original file could upload it to this thread I would greatly appreciate it (P3D v4\scenery\0202\scenery\APX17190.bgl ).
  8. Found it. Issue resolved. I would like to thank you for your help. Very nice scenery!
  9. Not only does my aircraft not have a shadow on the ground at 61B but the static aircraft do not have any shadows either. Any ideas?
  10. Now that I have everything installed again I have the complete brigde showing up. Still do not have a shadow under my aircraft when on the runway at 61B. But if I change airports I have a shadow. So something with the Boulder City scenery I guess.
  11. Checking out the scenery and I noticed I do not have the arch under the bridge in front of the Dam.
  12. i added disable to that bgl file. Here is what I have now at 61B. I have noticed that I have no aircraft shadow when at this airport now.
  13. I installed Global Base, Vector OpenLC NA and Boulder City. Here are screenshots with Boulder City disabled in the scenery library and with it enabled.
  14. I checked with my internet provider and fortunately since everyone is staying home these days for the virus they removed the internet limit on my service until the end of May. So I just uninstalled all of my Orbx scenery and started P3D and went to 61B and only saw the elevation issue due to the Pilot's mesh being installed. Now I am reinstalling my Orbx scenery and will let you know what I discover.
  15. I uninstalled Boulder City, deleted the folder in my library and then reinstalled Boulder City into the P3D main folder. Still have the same issue.
  16. Which addon airport? Are you referring to KBVU which you mentioned above? In my scenery library the following entry in listed as priority 7 FTX_AA_61B M:\P3D Orbx Library\p3dv4\61B Boulder City Municipal Airport\zoTNC\GYC_NA\FTX_AA_61B I have no third party scenery installed in this area. Only my Orbx scenery.
  17. Is there any way to move my Orbx scenery from my library folder into the P3D main folder without uninstalling all of it and reinstalling it?
  18. Yes I stated above that I am using the Pilot's FS Global Ultimate Next Generation FTX mesh. I have uncheck that in the scenery library but doing that did not fix the issue.
  19. I thought the issue might be related to Traffic Global Early Access for FSX P3D being installed. I saw an issue before with KLAS. I have since removed Traffic Global and removed the entry from the scenery.cfg file as well as the Traffic Global entries in the Addons folder. That did not fix this issue but fixed the issue with KLAS.
  20. I really hate the way Orbx locks the Orbx stuff in the scenery library in P3D. Makes it very difficult to troubleshoot.
  21. Here is my scenery config file. And here is what 61B looks like if I uninstall the Boulder City scenery. scenery.cfg
  22. I have the Orbx scenery installed into a P3D library folder not in the main P3D folder.
  23. Yes, I stated that above. And I couldn't figure out why 61B was not flat before I installed Boulder City. I had, as I said before, uninstalled base, vector, openlc na, my Pilots mesh, and reinstalled but still had the issue. I have been checking out airports all around that area as well as in other parts of the US and everything looks good everywhere, except for 61B.
  24. I looked at that topic and wish my scenery looked like that.
