Hi ya Kev, we didn't get it in the pineapple state, (or banana benders,) take your pick but I have sister in Melbourne, she said it shook her out of bed and ruined her sleep in. .
Don
Hi Don, yes I think that they were all very lucky, fingers crossed for the after shocks.
I have a daughter, grandkids and great grandkids at Port Stephens and they are more
worried about this nasty virus that seems to have a mind of its own.

This release appears to have really shaken the Melbourne community, but c'mon
a 6 magnitude earthquake is a bit over the top don't you think?
To all my friends across the ditch do hope you are all safe and damage to
your homes is minimal

Always nice to have quality work of this standard to look forward to.
Best wishes & do hope you reap the rewards for this complex work.

Nice shots as usual Iain, mind you it's an easy subject when it looks like this.
Have just told "Her indoors" that the new handbag will have to wait !

Hi Ed, I had the same problem and the verify files did the trick.
Go stand in the naughty corner

Hi Juergen, not good to see that you have still have problems, it is
sure a beast of a platform when it wants to be.
Nick is on to it and I can not offer anything further at this stage.
As Nick says let's see what the next update fixes and breaks

Hi Kevin,
Question: How exactly do you "empty the cache folder"? I have the store version of MSFS2020.
Thanks
Juergen
Hi Juergen, sorry for the late reply (time zone) and I've been a bit busy.
Light up the simulator and when it's finished doing it's thing click on options up
the top then General Options. the next screen opens in the Graphics section.
On the left side of the screen in blue there is a list of options, click on Data.
Scroll down to the bottom of the data screen and you will find an option to
delete your rolling cache file. It will rebuild itself without any problem.
Do make sure that you disable Asobo LOWI in your content manager before you
delete your cache. Look on the left side of the content manager screen and you
have an option to show scenery not installed tick that and it will be easy to see if
it is inactive. If it is not there then it will still be active and you will have to scroll
down on the right side of the screen until you find it. Then simply uninstall it.
Sorry to be a bit long winded but it's the best I can do. Don't ya love these flight sims?

Hi Juergen, when you install Orbx LOWI next go into your content manager
and find the Asobo version of LOWI and uninstall it as it will conflict with the
Orbx version. Other than that little suggestion I would also advise you to empty
your cache folder as well. If that does not work there are another couple of things
you can try, but let's not complicate things at this stage. Do not concern yourself
about the uninstall of the Asobo version because you can just reverse the procedure
with no issue if you need to. Do hope this helps.

Nice shots, I still think that Orbx Sydney City Scape is there poster scenery.
It sure beats all the City Landmark packs. More City Scape projects would
be great as we know from the Sydney offering that such a high standard
is achievable and without bringing a system to it's knees.

My eyes are heading south as I age. The left one is functionally blind due to macular degeneration, and the right one is undermanagement for both MD and glaucoma. Makes it hard to read small print. The print size of the Forum is fixed. This may be too selfish a request to consider, but if we are limited to one print size, could we up it a couple of notches? Those of us with vision issues would benefit. Just a thought.
Hi Rodger, if you are using a computer with Microsoft Edge, when you are on the Orbx web site click on the
3 dots in the top right corner of your screen and you have immediate access to + or - zoom which will set the
print size to your comfort level. Then simply reverse the setting when you move on somewhere else.
I can't remember where the Chrome settings are but I am sure you will work it out.
It is pleasing to see that you are still enjoying MSFS and are working around any issues you may have.

It'll be soup & toast for another week when this is released.

Since MSFS was introduced I have purchase 63 sceneries from Orbx.
If I were to add up the cost of this I would more than likely have a
heart attack, which at my age I would surely not survive.
Where I would be heading it would be tad warm and I am
pretty sure that flight simming is not an option.
Therefore I will not worry about the cost and continue to enjoy
my hobbie while I can. Geeze, Orbx have just released another one

Yes, big improvement and just love the extra detail. I haven't got a clue what
my frame rates are but it is back to being dead smooth and my coffee that
is kept warm on top of my computer case is back to it's optimal temperature
Thank you so much Frank and keep up the good work, Sydney City Scape is
right up there with the best.

Geez more expense, I really must stop watching previews of anything Orbx

It is always best to log in and you will see the exact price you will pay
on the product page. Us Kiwis just love giving our government 15%
tax on all our Orbx transactions so that our generous 20% discount
that Orbx gives us sort of melts away.
If Orbx didn't facilitate this for the NZ government they would have to
go stand in the naughty corner. So it is what it is folks.
I am trying to buy less Orbx products but it is just not working

Leave the park brake on before landing
I think that at this stage it is still not part of the deal.
With my landings there should be so much tire smoke I wouldn't
be able to see the runway Centre line.

Well I think that the Orbx team should be working 8 days a week with no
time off for good behaviour . I am just fed up with the slow output of MSFS
As a protest I have only purchased 40 sceneries for MSFS via Orbx.
Please address this situation as soon as you have finished hitting your heads
against the brick wall.

Geeze Orbx team, you just don't give up do you! Here I am living on soup and toast so
I can afford to continue buying into this hobby of ours and you up and produce product
for MFS. Not being of Scottish heritage I have purchased the Premium Deluxe MFS.
I now see that you even have the cheek to offer generous discounts to improve things
even more! It has become clear to me that either the soup or toast has got to go
All the best Orbx team and stay safe.

Neil has left a giant foot print with ORBX with big shoes that will be hard to fill.
His legacy will live on for many years to come.
The idea of John's to rename "the old coots club" is spot on

Excellent review Lee, going to be hard to resist this one. I will no doubt
make the "investment" in the not to distant future.
