  1. In the southern coastal area of Alaska on the Baranof Island is Sitka situated with the Airport PASI and about 100NM SSW of Juneau. As one of the many Alaskan Airports modelled by Orbx-partner Northern Sky Sudio, I hereby post some shots of this airport beginnig with the environment for better sight on the location.

  2. One of the countries in the Balkan Regio is Montenegro situated between Bosnia&Herzigovina and Albania and well known for some beautiful touristic highlights.

Podogrica Airport is a bit south of the same named City in the SthEast of Montenegro. Very nice modelled by Orbx-developper Rasha Tuvakov. Next to passengers area their is also a pretty large militairy area that I don't picture in this post because already 35 shots hereby but is also very well done. At he end is boarding and take-off of a Ryanair B737-800 direction south. Enjoy my follow selected screenshots:

  3. The lower part of the Northsee(above the Duth Wadden-Islands and the German East Frisian Islands) is a busy area of shipping area, mainly to and from the port of Hamburg.

Fine modelled by the Offshore Landmarks Northsee package from Aerosoft there is a lot to see over a vast see-area. Hereby a small part via a DHC2 Beaver and a Heli H135.

Pyreegue has just announced that their agreement with Orbx has come to an end. No further Pyreegue products will  be available on Orbx direct, including EGNX we'll have to get it elsewhere.

Well, I have it(EGNX) from elsewhere and it's a fantastic realisation from Pyreegue. I spent yesterday about 2 hours in discovering the fine and true to life modelled details all over the airport. A must have if you like a very detailled scene.

  5. Looks like flying over the super hot Death Valley...the rimple effect of the exhaust enlarges the heat effect, reflecting the current extreme teperatures in this area of the US.

wonderful shots, huge amount of detail at this airport, even a guy crossing the road with an Orbx bag....how are you finding the F28?

Thank you...the F28 is very detailled and is, in my opinion, good to handle and performs a realistic flight-behaviour. Minus: relative high priced plane by JustFlight.

  7. Hotham Airport(YHOT) is situated in the mountains region of Victoria between Melbourne and Canberra. Hereby an overview and the boarding and take-off of a Fokker-F28 Fellowship in the livery of Ansett that operated this plane till 1999. Ansett as Australian airliner stopped in 2002. Therefore this livery as remembrance. Th destination is Hamilton on Tasmania.

  8. In this 2nd part of my Arlanda Airport exploration, the shots are concentrated around the preparing to flight and the airborning of a Fokker F28 in the -4000 version in the Swedish livery 'Linjeflyg' that was an airliner that used as first this longer version of the F28 from late 1976 onwards. Not operational anymore as the major Swedish airliner is now SAS.

  9. Yeah! I also find flying helicoters a lot more difficult than flying planes, especially landing them on a few square meters is challenging. I have the best experience with the heli's H135 & H145 from HPG, the H135 is freeware and is fine and detailled modelled.

  10. A short hello to camping friends at the Nth Californian remote airstrip 42HV in a vintage light GA, a challenging landing near free walking cows and after the visit a returnflight just under the highvoltage lines not to be electrified. A great place to extend the default campements with extra's via de //42 Campout Add. Enjoy the follow shots:
