@paulk - Thanks for you trying to help - however I found that this problem is basic in T/Master sicks - Airbus and T16000

which I also had. Multiple YT videos had many examples of how to correct but way too complicated in my 89 Y/O mind

    or even  patience

Sooh I took the easy path - and bought a new Logitech T56👏

Anybody want 2 free broken T/Masters sticks = postage only :D

Hi Sent me a photo via PM of the joysticks I may take one and have a go repairing. Happy to pay P+P and more if required.

You got it Paul. "Not a clue" looks like a slight underestimation...

BTW: The photos were taken many years before the scenery was released. We have to grab our cameras whereever we travel, the scenery developers follow!

    You know the world, Wolfgang...

Honestly, never seen or heard of it until Orbx released it last week, so it was a wild guess for me.

Will try upload something soon, anyone else feel free to jump in.

PS I have the Sydney Cityscape and Sydney airport add-on, would like this also but worry my old PC may be slowed down by another Sydney add on. Anyone tried it?

  3. Not sure if this is 100% related but I have the Airbus joystick with twist rudder.

It developed a rudder twitch. I searched and found a YouTube video for the fix.

Basically the wiring was stretched too tight in the joystick for the rudder, I had to open you the joystick and release some of the wiring so it wasn’t as tight for the rudder. It was an instant fix.

Sorry, but I can’t remember the video link for the fix, suggest you Google search it.

Fingers crossed for you and let me know how you get on.

  4. Yes - well done it is indeed Toronto Billy Bishop airport.

Congrats to 'boetie' who actually PM me the correct answer last night.

You guys are too good, I actually didn't upload a photo of the airport and you still got it 😀

Perhaps in future, we should try guess an airport by photos of its local surrounding's ? 😃

  5. Hi

Thanks I enjoyed this one, it kept me busy. I have the Brussels add-on - its fantastic.

For Info: the worlds Magnetic Field changes over an 11 year cycle. Most aircraft IRS systems have a Magnetic Variation table stored in them for the world (this can also be updated via a software upload), known as the MAGVAR table. Airport runway identifications are rounded to the nearest 10' depending on the local Magnetic Variation for the airfield.

Eg: Brussels Runway 200 official magnetic heading would be anything between 195 to 204' However, due yearly magnetic variation changes, the runway must now be in the 185 to 194' area and the runway will have been re-categorized as 190. This is common for all airfields around the world. (obviously local magnetic variation is much worse towards the poles and that's why aircraft switch from Magnetic to True North navigation whilst over the polar regions).

Anyway enough of the science lets see if I can find a new photo for you all.

  6. The large building is very confusing.

BAe146-300 I was thinking Lufthansa and a German airport?

However, 2 airports that have a runway 20 are Paris - Orly, and Barcelona, although, picture doesn't look like either.

I'm not sure of the date your photo was taken and I don't think any major European carriers use the BAe-146 any more, so it could be an old Orly or Barcelona???
