  1. Hi Iain,

I am the last person to give advice on what to do when there is a problem with MSFS. But, since I had a few problems with that software and had to reinstall 170 gig a few times, the company that takes care of my computer installed REVO UNINSTALLER. It is free, and it takes care of erasing absolutely everything when it comes to your identification with MSFS. So when you reinstall the whole program, Microsoft does not spot here and there some remnants of older installation and digital ownership of products on your computer. It really starts like it's a new installation and you're a new customer. It worked for me and the software is stable since then. The other problem I had was that I dowloaded a few freewares (since nobody develops paywares around Quebec City - it's like we live near Easter Island...) and some of those softwares suddenly competed with the third Microsoft update. So step one: install Teamviewer so that a technician can take control of your computer. Step 2: Ask him to install Revo Uninstaller. Step 3: Ask him to erase what is associated with Microsoft flightsim. Step 4 (only if the precedent three steps did not work: write me and tell me to mind my own business).
