Hi
Also, please try deleting and turning off the rolling cache.
Tried this too, rebooted the sim, but no change.

An uninstall, reinstall through OrbxCentral, followed by a system restart has not fixed the issue either.

Thanks for the reply @Jon Clarke, I had already tried the file verification method in, so deleted the Content.xml and let MSFS rebuild it.
Unfortunately the issue remains. I can't see any other North American scenery in my Community folder to cause a conflict other than Orbx airports for the Lower 48.
Any further help is appreciated.

Well, much more than 3, we have a number lined up in development.
Would love to see your NZWR or NZGS from Prepar3D make their way to MSFS to compliment your NZ Mesh. Just throwing it out there!

First of all, here are some of the Landmarks City Packs we have lined up for development in MSFS:
- Auckland, New Zealand
Any news on Auckland's progress? Would be great to see a teaser screenshot or two, the city is lacking sadly in detail inside of MSFS!

Hello,
thanks for your report.
I have drawn the developer's attention to it.
Thanks Nick.

...Anyone?
Not sure whether or not this is the correct forum to post in to notify the developer of product issues or not. If it is not, could I please be pointed in the right direction?

Even after the 1.1 update to the Orbx NZ Mesh that specifically D'Urville Island still glitches significantly for me.
From far away the island outline appears as a flat 2D outline on the water, then as approached by air, the tree covering pops into place over where the terrain should be, although the terrain remains see through creating an unusual effect. As you fly over the island, the terrain pops into place momentarily in a square by square loading style, but disappears again as the area gets overflown.
I also note that D'Urville Island does not register as a land mass on the GPS moving map (GTN750 in this example). It does however show up on the in game moving map- never seen that sort of discrepancy before.
It's all very bizarre- I have no other NZ DEM addons in my community folder and the product works flawlessly for the rest of New Zealand. Any ideas guys?

I note that there is now a freeware 10m interpolated mesh has been released for NZ over on flightsim.to: https://flightsim.to/file/15092/new-zealand-10m-dem-high-resolution-terrain-elevation-data-interpolated-from-20m
Has anyone got any comparisons between this and the Orbx DEM performance wise in the sim? I note it takes up 9.7gb of harddrive space once extracted!

Looks like a fairly prominent and dramatic island was missed with the recent NZ Mesh. Not sure if this was a mistake or not, but would be really nice to see this covered when the addon gets updated!

Cheers folks- the scenery was too good not to share I reckon!

Screenshots captured whilst exploring the spectacular Fiordland National Park in New Zealand’s South Island. The flight route is NZMO-NZGY-NZQN and shared as a .PLN file over on worldtour.flights under 'Lord of the Rings Filming Locations Guided Tour'

Beautiful shots! Where is the Tigermoth available from for MSFS please?

First impressions running the new Orbx NZ mesh.
Looks pretty similar to default (wonder what the MSFS mesh res is for the region- 20m maybe?), but no water climbing around coastlines or any sign of rounded off mountains popping in and out of view makes for a much more immersive experience that default!
I note that the Orbx NZNI/NZSI addons from FSX and P3D contained the same res 10m Holgermesh, so it is as at least as good as previous NZ virtual addons for the sim. Looking forward to the 1m res updates!- 1

This is awesome news, the default NZ mesh is really lacking compared to the NZNI and NZSI terrain I was used to in the FSX days. Absolutely thrilled to see NZ chosen by Orbx as the first mesh for MSFS

Juneau issue after installing Alaska mesh

Thanks again Jon- didn't even know Orbx Central was keeping a backup of all the install files locally. Cleared those out, uninstalled and reinstalled, but would you believe- still no luck. Sounds like it is only me with this issue, and after all the trouble shooting here, I still have no idea why it could possibly be.
