Neil1628 Posted July 2, 2015 Share Posted July 2, 2015 Just fresh installed FSX and decided to get Orbx australia and broome airport installed orbx audtralia and when ftx central loads i get the below messageregion files validation report with the below also when i apply the region the report comes back with the same errors. The airport at broome has installed but it does not look like the terrain has changed and there is also some random black squares. im not sure how to post a screenshot so any help would be useful. im also a little unsure on how to change the texture max load like many suggest. Nick Cooper Posted July 2, 2015 Share Posted July 2, 2015 My advice would be to leave it alone but if you really want to; If you haven't already, go to Windows File Explorer\View\Options\Change folder and Search options\View and untick Hide extensions for known file types. This will make it far easier to find the files you want. Apologies if you know this already. I assume FSX not FSX Steam. You will need to go to your fsx.cfg file at C:\Users\Your name \AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\FSX open it with Notepad and change the number in red. The alternatives are 2048 and 4096. While you're there, you can add the HIGHMEMFIX=1 as well, this does actually improve things. [GRAPHICS]HIGHMEMFIX=1TEXTURE_MAX_LOAD=1024 Be aware that every time you change a setting in the Settings Display box, your TEXTURE_MAX_LOAD= setting will revert to 1024 and you will have to change it again.
