FTX Central "no simulator found"

VH-JLC

Recommended Posts

Hi there,

I've created a problem by changing the P3d2.5 main folder path,

It was F:P3D/ etc etc

Now I needed to change it to get some hardware working t0

F:sim/P3D

Now FTX central 2 will not start and comes up with the error "No simulators have been found on your computer"

I looked for a registry fix but only found the FSX one,

Is there a way I could point FTX central to the new folder location??

Many thanks

Josh

Hi Josh,

The Prepar3D v2 registry key is located at:

  • 32-bit Windows: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v2\SetupPath

  • 64-bit Windows: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v2\SetupPath

If you would prefer an automated way to do it, you can download and run this tool here (remember to run as administrator): https://fullterrain.com/tools/orbxregistryfixer.zip
