wedge1047
Hi Bob, Are you using the DX10 Preview mode, if so have a look under Tricks Tips and Technical, DX10 sub heading, If not do a search on the forum for black boxes or similar. This problem has come up before but my old brain cannot recall the details. regards Reg. search for-Black Squares in Directx 10 preview mode

wedge1047
you`re very welcome , for what its worth I use DX10 with Steves fixer and it works fine, solves most, if not all problems. It should definitely sort your black box problem. cheers Reg.
Jiri Kocman
If you have only problem with "black boxes" then you do not need Steves paid Fixer, just his free shaders (black boxes solved but some others DX10 problems like missing legacy aircrafts textures still present). You can look for Shader Release v3.2.3 (works well for me, but I'm on paid fixer now). You can find it at http://www.avsim.com/
