Ricfishner
Hi, I just purchased the Sedona scenery from flightsim. Installation went fine, but when I start a flight from KSEZ, the runway and taxiways ae on lower Elevation than the surroundings; carving some 50 ft into the mountain. Some airport elements appear on right ("upper") elevation though. I found some entry here in the forum regarding a similiar problem, where it was due to a prevois installation of FTX free airports. As I don't have those freeware airports installed, any idea what else could cause the problem? Do I Need to disable KESZ in FTX Vector? I do have the following add ons installed which are relevant for this area: - FSGLOBAL2008 - FTX Global - FTX Vector Ric
Jarrad Marshall
G'day Ric, You are indeed correct about disabling KSEZ in Vector - if you run the Vector AEC tool and disable Sedona, this will likely resolve the issue for you. Let me know how you get along. Cheers, Jarrad
flyboy1953
Evening Fiends and Foes.... Just noticed the same problem with KSEZ elevation.... Disable elevation in vector and still had the same issue... I will repeat the process for both so I can put some pics up here.... The only thing I really have done since I last had it working is apply all the new updates withe new installer..... Including Global Vector... Could you please research this? I'm Circling waiting to land..... looks a tad uneven to put my wheels down,,, Thanks.... 1. KSEZ Enabled.... FTX Central: North America and the Insertion Order 2. KSEZ disabled.... Jarrad Marshall
G'day Flyboy, Another possibility is that you have an older version of our freeware Global airports, which included a compatibility problem with KSEZ.. to fix, download and install the latest version from here. flyboy1953
Thanks.... Apparently my KSEZ was not the latest... Thank you!
