andreasluther67
Today I installed the PNW scenery freeware and after multiple attempts to get FSX to load completely (which it never did) I went through many steps to uninstall it. FSX now is giving me errors that point to my scenery.cfg file being corrupted as it's still trying to find orbx files. I've tried replacing that file several times but get the usual Windows7 admin issues. Am very frustrated right now and any help would be appreciated. Thanks. Jon Clarke
Don't fully understand the problem but normally when FSX gives you error notices it means there is a conflict in FSX not finding the path to a scenery that had been added. I suggest since you uninstalled that you check the FSXscenery library to ensure you do not still have it listed in there, If it is then just use the Delete option within the library after highlighting the entry. I also suggest you use FSTscenery by Steve Greenwood. Look it up on Google (other search engines are available !!!). You could also search your scenery.cfg file to see if there is any reference left to PNW in there. If so delete it and then just run the FSTscenery tool. This will recompile your scenery cfg for you correctly.
