Psybear
Never had a problem with parity errors before but I've tried downloading several times each with two different browsers, different servers and Ireland won't check. All the others I tried are fine. Just Ireland. Whats odd is the download MD5 is always the same but it doesn't match what's on the download link at FSS. Has the file changed? Or the checksum? Holger Sandmann
Hi Clayton, are you using a download manager? If not see http://www.orbxsystems.com/forum/topic/82288-corrupt-download-cant-unzip-please-read-here/ Cheers, Holger
Psybear
Yes Holgar. Download Them All in Firefox. Native in WhiteHat Aviator. IE all the same. The oddity is that no matter how I download the Ireland File, with or without a download manager, I always get the same MD5: 3d3d9e9ef7c45d3a2c74d6bf1d16210c but it does not agree with what is on the download page at FSS: a1ac5283d92a9b6de56f0e9fd59fbbbb Again, of the 25+ Orbx downloads I've done, FTX Ireland is the only download that doesn't check so I had the audacity to question the veracity of the posted MD5. Holger Sandmann
Hi Clayton, I just checked a fresh download and get the 3d3d9e9ef7c45d3a2c74d6bf1d16210c MD5 as well. The archive does extract and install correctly though so it looks like it's just the checksum at FSS that seems incorrect. I'll ping Adrian.
